Abstract

Sistem grounding memiliki peran krusial dalam menjaga keandalan kelistrikan dan keselamatan operasional di Bandar Udara Abdulrachman Saleh Malang, terutama dalam menghadapi risiko gangguan listrik dan sambaran petir. Sistem grounding yang tidak sesuai standar dapat menyebabkan ketidakefektifan dalam menyalurkan arus gangguan ke tanah, sehingga meningkatkan risiko gangguan operasional serta membahayakan peralatan dan personel bandara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai resistansi pentanahan di berbagai titik grounding serta mengevaluasi kelayakan sistem grounding yang digunakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, dengan pengukuran langsung menggunakan Earth tester dan membandingkannya dengan standar yang berlaku, setelah itu dilakukan evaluasi mengenai kelayakan sistem grounding. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan resistansi grounding di salah satu titik gardu trafo mencapai 11,27 Ω, melebihi standar Persyaratan Umum Instalasi Listrik (PUIL 2000) ≤5 Ω. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa sistem grounding di Bandara Abdulrachman Saleh Malang kurang layak karena adanya nilai grounding diatas standar dan diperlukan evaluasi.

The grounding system plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of electrical systems and operational safety at Abdulrachman Saleh Airport in Malang, especially in mitigating the risks of electrical disturbances and lightning strikes. A grounding system that does not comply with standards can result in the ineffective dissipation of fault currents into the ground, thereby increasing the risk of operational disruptions and endangering both equipment and airport personnel. This study aims to analyze the ground resistance values at various grounding points and evaluate the feasibility of the existing grounding system. The method employed is descriptive analysis, involving direct measurements using an earth tester and comparing the results with applicable standards, followed by an evaluation of the grounding system's feasibility. Measurement results indicate that the resistance at one of the grounding points, namely at the transformer substation, reached 11.27 Ω, exceeding the maximum limit set by the General Requirements for Electrical Installations (PUIL 2000), which is ≤5 Ω. Based on this finding, it can be concluded that the grounding system at Abdulrachman Saleh Airport is inadequate due to resistance values exceeding the standard, and thus requires further evaluation.
