Abstract
Industri penerbangan menghadapi tantangan lonjakan penumpang saat periode puncak seperti Nataru. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesiapan operasional Bandara Adi Soemarmo Boyolali untuk Natal 2025 dan Tahun Baru 2026. Fokusnya pada strategi dan implementasi kesiapan di bidang Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP), serta Infrastruktur dan Fasilitas, berdasarkan proyeksi pertumbuhan trafik. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan AOCH dan Supervisor AMC, observasi lapangan, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasilnya, Bandara Adi Soemarmo telah melakukan persiapan proaktif: optimalisasi jadwal shift dan penambahan personel BKO pada SDM; prosedur penanganan lonjakan dan darurat pada SOP; serta optimalisasi check-in counter, perluasan ruang tunggu, dan pengaturan alur penumpang pada Infrastruktur. Meskipun fondasi kesiapan baik, tantangan seperti disiplin penumpang dan efektivitas optimalisasi kapasitas fasilitas pada puncak kepadatan masih memerlukan perhatian. Perbaikan berkelanjutan pada implementasi detail dan koordinasi lintas sektor sangat krusial.
The aviation industry faces the challenge of passenger surges during peak periods
such as Christmas and New Year. This study aims to analyze the operational
readiness of Adi Soemarmo Airport in Boyolali for Christmas 2025 and New Year
2026. The focus is on strategies and implementation of readiness in the areas of
Human Resources (HR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and
Infrastructure and Facilities, based on projected traffic growth. Using a qualitative
approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with AOCH and AMC
Supervisors, field observations, and documentation studies. The results show that
Adi Soemarmo Airport has made proactive preparations: optimizing shift schedules
and adding BKO personnel to HR; procedures for handling surges and emergencies
in SOPs; and optimizing check-in counters, expanding waiting rooms, and
managing passenger flow in infrastructure. Although the foundation of readiness is
sound, challenges such as passenger discipline and the effectiveness of optimizing
facility capacity during peak congestion still require attention. Continuous
improvement in detailed implementation and cross-sector coordination is crucial.
