Abstract
Invensi ini berfokus pada pengembangan antena penerima yang digunakan untuk menguji kinerja alat bantu navigasi udara. Antena ini mencakup penerimaan sinyal dari sistem Instrumen Landing System (ILS) Localizer dan VHF Omni-Directional Range (VOR) pada frekuensi 108-118 MHz. Desain antena dikembangkan menggunakan software antenna design yang dapat membuat dan mensimulasikan parameter antena tersebut. Pada hasil simulasi antena ini bekerja pada frekuensi VHF navigation dengan nilai Return Loss -33,18 dB, VSWR 1,04, dan Bandwidth 16 MHz. Hasil pengukuran antena menunjukkan bahwa antena dapat bekerja pada frekuensi VHF navigation dengan nilai Return Loss -45,05 dB, VSWR 1,03, dan Bandwidth 3,7 MHz. Pada perancangan antena ini, diperoleh mikrostrip meander line dengan dimensi 340 mm x 190 mm yang dapat bekerja pada band frekuensi VHF navigation. Namun, antena ini hanya dapat beroperasi pada frekuensi kerja sesuai dengan bandwidth yang didapatkan saja.
This invention focuses on the development of a receiving antenna used to test the performance of air navigation aids. This antenna receives signals from the Instrument Landing System (ILS) Localizer and VHF Omni-Directional Range (VOR) at frequencies of 108-118 MHz. The antenna design was developed using antenna design software that can create and simulate the antenna parameters. The simulation results show that the antenna operates at VHF navigation frequencies with a Return Loss of -33.18 dB, a VSWR of 1.04, and a bandwidth of 16 MHz. Measurement results indicate that the antenna can operate at VHF navigation frequencies with a Return Loss of -45.05 dB, a VSWR of 1.03, and a bandwidth of 3.7 MHz. In the design of this antenna, a microstrip meander line with dimensions of 340 mm x 190 mm was obtained that can operate at the VHF navigation frequency band. However, this antenna can only operate at the operating frequency corresponding to the obtained bandwidth.
