Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) merupakan salah satu inovasi teknologi yang memiliki potensi besar dalam memperluas akses informasi dan meningkatkan interaktivitas melalui visualisasi objek tiga dimensi secara nyata. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan prosedur pemeliharaan rutin peralatan Range and Detection (RADAR) ke dalam media visual berbasis AR. Pemeliharaan merupakan aspek penting dalam menjamin kinerja fasilitas surveillance penerbangan agar tetap optimal. Namun, kompleksitas dan tingkat presisi tinggi dalam proses tersebut menimbulkan beban kognitif bagi teknisi, khususnya dalam mengingat prosedur secara manual. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan media visual interaktif berbasis AR diharapkan menjadi solusi inovatif untuk mengurangi kesalahan manusia dan meningkatkan efektivitas pelaksanaan pemeliharaan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode prototype yang meliputi tahap Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype, serta Development Delivery & Feedback. Aplikasi AR RADAR yang dikembangkan menyajikan visualisasi objek 3D peralatan, informasi pemeriksaan indikator, pengukuran fasilitas penunjang, serta panduan login dalam sistem RCMS pada peralatan RADAR. Prosedur dapat diakses secara runtut oleh pengguna melalui pemindaian marker menggunakan perangkat Android dan IOS.
Hasil pengujian usability terhadap 10 responden menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan aplikasi sebesar 93%, dengan rincian aspek Learnability (91%), Memorability (95%), Efficiency (93%), Error (93%), dan Satisfaction (95%). Selain itu, validasi oleh pakar dalam bidang AR dan RADAR menyatakan bahwa aplikasi ini layak digunakan dalam mendukung prosedur pemeliharaan RADAR MSSR Mode S merek Indra tipe IRS-20 MP/S.

Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the technological innovations that has great potential in expanding access to information and increasing interactivity through visualization of real three-dimensional objects. This research focuses on designing routine maintenance procedures for Range and Detection (RADAR) equipment into AR-based visual media. Maintenance is an important aspect in ensuring the optimal performance of aviation surveillance facilities. However, the complexity and high level of precision in the process creates a cognitive burden for technicians, especially in remembering procedures manually. Therefore, the development of AR-based interactive visual media is expected to be an innovative solution to reduce human error and increase the effectiveness of maintenance implementation.
This research uses the prototype method which includes the stages of Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype, and Development Delivery & Feedback. The developed AR RADAR application presents 3D object visualization of equipment, indicator inspection information, measurement of supporting facilities, and login guide in the RCMS system on RADAR equipment. Procedures can be accessed coherently by users through marker scanning using an Android and IOS device.
The results of usability testing on 10 respondents showed an application satisfaction level of 93%, with details of aspects of Learnability (91%), Memorability (95%), Efficiency (93%), Error (93%), and Satisfaction (95%). In addition, validation by experts in the field of AR and RADAR states that this application is feasible to use in supporting maintenance procedures for Indra brand MSSR Mode S RADAR type IRS-20 MP/S.
