Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai efektivitas aplikasi simulasi berbasis digital seperti Fly Go dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual dan prosedural taruna. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain true experimental tipe pretest–posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian dibagi secara acak menjadi kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan aplikasi simulasi berbasis digital seperti Fly Go dan kelompok kontrol yang belajar dengan metode konvensional berbasis buku.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pemahaman taruna
pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Hal ini membuktikan
bahwa aplikasi simulasi berbasis digital seperti Fly Go lebih efektif daripada
metode konvensional dalam mendukung pembelajaran radio instrument.
Berdasarkan temuan ini, integrasi media pembelajaran berbasis digital
direkomendasikan dalam kurikulum pelatihan penerbangan agar proses belajar
lebih interaktif, adaptif, dan sesuai dengan tuntutan kompetensi IFR pada era
teknologi penerbangan modern.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital simulation applications such as Fly Go in improving cadets’ conceptual and procedural understanding.
A quantitative approach was applied using a true experimental design with a
pretest–posttest control group design. The subjects were randomly assigned into an experimental group, which used the simulation application, and a control group, which learned through conventional book-based methods.
The results revealed a significant improvement in the understanding of cadets in
the experimental group compared to the control group. This demonstrates that
digital simulation applications such as Fly Go are more effective than conventional methods in supporting radio instrument learning. Based on these findings, the integration of digital learning media is recommended in aviation training curricula to promote a more interactive, adaptive, and competency-oriented learning process in line with modern IFR requirements.
