KAJIAN PENINGKATAN PENGAWASAN UNIT APRON MOVEMENT CONTROL DI MAKE UP BREAKDOWN AREA BANDAR UDARA FATMAWATI SOEKARNO BENGKULU

Bandar Udara merupakan infrastruktur vital yang berperan penting dalam bidang transportasi udara. Bandar Udara Fatmawati Soekarno Bengkulu merupakan salah satu bandar udara yang memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung mobilitas masyarakat serta aktivitas logistik di wilayah Bengkulu dan sekitarnya. Di Bandar Udara Fatmawati Soekarno Bengkulu masih terdapat berbagai kendala yang dapat menghambat efektivitas pengawasan AMC di Make Up Breakdown Area. Penelitian ini bertujuan : (i) Mengetahui kondisi saat ini pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Unit Apron Movement Control di Make Up Breakdown Area Bandar Udara. (ii) Mengetahui strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengawasan Apron Movement Control di Make Up Breakdown Area guna mendukung keselamatan dan kelancaran operasional. Penilitian ini menggunakan Metode peneilitan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penilitian menunjukan pengawasan yang dilakukan Unit AMC saat ini masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, minimnya fasilitas penunjang seperti CCTV yang aktif dan kurangnya kepatuhan petugas terhadap SOP. Kondisi ini berdampak pada efektivitas pengawasan di Make Up Breakdown Area yang merupakan zona kritis dalam operasional sisi udara. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah optimalisasi teknologi pengawasan menjadi hal utama yang perlu dilakukan. Sistem CCTV yang ada harus dipastikan berfungsi secara maksimal dan terhubung secara real-time ke ruang kontrol Unit AMC. Serta memberikan strategi untuk lebih meningkatkan pengawasan Unit AMC.

Airports are vital infrastructure that play an important role in air transportation. Fatmawati Soekarno Bengkulu Airport is one of the airports that plays an important role in supporting community mobility and logistics activities in Bengkulu and its surrounding areas. At Fatmawati Soekarno Bengkulu Airport, there are still various obstacles that can hinder the effectiveness of AMC supervision in the Make Up Breakdown Area. This study aims to: (i) Identify the current condition of supervision conducted by the Apron Movement Control Unit in the Make Up Breakdown Area of the airport. (ii) Identify strategies that can be implemented to enhance the effectiveness of Apron Movement Control supervision in the Make Up Breakdown Area to support operational smoothness and safety. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method. The results of the study show that the supervision carried out by the AMC Unit currently still faces various obstacles, such as a lack of supporting facilities like active CCTV and a lack of compliance with SOPs by officers. This condition impacts the effectiveness of supervision in the Make Up Breakdown Area, which is a critical zone in airside operations. The conclusion of this study is that optimizing supervision technology is the main thing that needs to be done. The existing CCTV system must be ensured to function maximally and be connected in real-time to the AMC Unit control room. Additionally, strategies must be developed to further enhance AMC Unit surveillance.
