Abstract
Peningkatan jumlah penumpang di Bandar Udara Sultan Thaha Jambi memicu kebutuhan akan pelayanan informasi yang lebih cepat akurat untuk penumpang. Salah satu sistem informasi digital yang digunakan di Bandar Udara Sultan Thaha Jambi adalah Flight Information Display System (FIDS), yang dikelola melalui website internal oleh petugas informasi bandara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan FIDS belum memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal kepada penumpang, mengidentifikasi fitur apa saja yang perlu ditambahkan pada sistem website, serta integrasi Flight Information Display System (FIDS) dengan Public Address System (PAS) dan Automatic Announcement System (AAS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama terletak pada kesalahan input data oleh petugas, keterlambatan pembaruan informasi penerbangan oleh petugas, tampilan FIDS yang kurang terbaca, dan lokasi layar yang tidak strategis. Selain itu, belum adanya integrasi antara FIDS dan PAS membuat informasi antara visual dan audio tidak serentak. Kesimpulannya, pengelolaan sistem FIDS perlu ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan petugas, perlu pengembangan fitur seperti dashboard real-time, dan integrasi otomatis dengan PAS dan AAS untuk meningkatkan pelayanan informasi yang cepat, akurat, dan ramah pengguna.

The increase in passenger numbers at Sultan Thaha Airport in Jambi has triggered the need for faster and more accurate information services for passengers. One of the digital information systems used at Sultan Thaha Airport in Jambi is the Flight Information Display System (FIDS), which is managed through an internal website by airport information officers. This study aims to analyze the factors causing the FIDS to not provide optimal service to passengers, identify the features that need to be added to the website system, and integrate the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) with the Public Address System (PAS) and Automatic Announcement System (AAS). This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the main challenges lie in data entry errors by staff, delays in updating flight information by staff, an FIDS display that is difficult to read, and screens located in non-strategic positions. Additionally, the lack of integration between FIDS and PAS results in visual and audio information not being synchronized. In conclusion, FIDS system management needs to be improved through staff training, the development of features such as real-time dashboards, and automatic integration with PAS and AAS to enhance the provision of fast, accurate, and user-friendly information services.
