Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Safety promotion terhadap keselamatan kerja personel PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology. Fokus utama penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi tingkat pelaksanaan Safety Promotion dan keselamatan kerja, serta seberapa besar pengaruh Safety Promotion terhadap keselamatan kerja, dan merumuskan persamaan regresinya. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini bertkaitan dengan belum optimalnya Safety Management System (SMS) dalam aspek safety promotion di PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology, yang diperkuat oleh laporan audit dan surveillance dari Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Udara (DGCA) pada Februari 2024 yang dimana mengenai occurrence report dan hazard identification yang telah dilaksanakan tetapi belum konsisten, serta ketidakpatuhan personel terhadap prosedur keselamatan, termasuk penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian terdiri dari seluruh personel PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology sebanyak 79 orang, yang sekaligus dijadikan sampel melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup yang disusun dalam skala Likert lima poin, mulai dari pilihan “Sangat tidak Setuju” hingga “Sangat Setuju” Instrumen penelitian disusun berdasarkan indikator teoritis safety promotion (Variabel X) dan keselamatan kerja personel (Variabel Y). Safety promotion didefinisikan sebagai pendekatan strategis untuk membangun budaya kerja yang selamat melalui pelatihan, pengarahan, edukasi, penyebaran materi promosi, dan penguatan kesadaran kolektif. Sementara itu, keselamatan kerja adalah langkah terencana perusahaan untuk mencegah kecelakaan dan mengurangi potensi bahaya, yang diukur melalui kondisi lingkungan kerja, tindakan preventif, perlindungan tenaga kerja, dan pengawasan prosedur kerja. Pengujian instrumen dilakukan dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, sementara pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment, uji signifikansi, uji koefisien determinasi, dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Analisis data dibantu oleh perangkat lunak SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penerapan safety promotion di PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology berada pada kategori “sangat baik” dengan persentase 91,74%. Tingkat keselamatan kerja juga berada pada kategori “sangat baik" dengan persentase 91,46%. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh item instrumen Variabel X (safety promotion) dan Y (keselamatan kerja) adalah valid, karena nilai r hitung lebih besar dari r Tabel (0,288). Namun, pada uji reliabilitas, nilai Cronbach’s Alpha untuk Variabel Y (0,846) berada di atas ambang batas 0,6, yang berarti instrumen Variabel Y reliabel, maupun Variabel X (0,677) reliabel. hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal (signifikansi 0,10 > 0,05). Uji linearitas menunjukkan hubungan yang linear antara Variabel X dan Y, karena f hitung (16,180) > f tabel (3,97). Uji heteroskedastisitas menunjukkan tidak ada gejala heteroskedastisitas (signifikansi 0,364 > 0,05). Uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,745, menandakan hubungan positif yang kuat antara safety promotion dan keselamatan kerja. Hasil uji signifikansi (t test) menunjukkan t hitung sebesar 4,022, yang lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 1,994, sehingga Variabel X berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Variabel Y. Uji koefisien determinasi (R²) menghasilkan nilai 0,174, menunjukkan bahwa safety promotion memberikan kontribusi sebesar 17,4% terhadap keselamatan kerja, sedangkan 82,6% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain. Persamaan regresi linear sederhana yang diperoleh adalah Y=22.743+0.322X. Ini berarti setiap peningkatan satu satuan pada safety promotion akan meningkatkan keselamatan kerja sebesar 0,322 satuan, menunjukkan hubungan positif dan searah. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa safety promotion memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan keselamatan kerja personel. Disarankan bagi PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology untuk menjadikan hasil ini sebagai acuan evaluasi SMS, meningkatkan kompetensi personel melalui pelatihan berkala, melakukan audit keselamatan dan tindakan korektif, serta mengevaluasi program keselamatan secara berkelanjutan. Bagi penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan untuk menggunakan pendekatan dan skala pengukuran yang berbeda, serta memperluas cakupan populasi dan lokasi penelitian.

This study aims to analyze the effect of safety promotion on personnel work safety at PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology. The main focus is to identify the level of implementation of safety promotion and work safety, to determine how much safety promotion influences work safety, and to formulate the regression equation. The problem underlying this research is related to the suboptimal Safety Management System (SMS) in the safety promotion aspect at PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology, which is reinforced by the audit and surveillance report from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in February 2024 regarding occurrence reports and hazard identification that have been implemented but are not yet consistent, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment.This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach. The population consists of all personnel at PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology, totaling 79 individuals, all of whom were also used as samples through a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using a closed-ended questionnaire designed with a five-point Likert scale ranging from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree.” The research instruments were developed based on theoretical indicators of safety promotion (variable X) and personnel work safety (variable Y). Safety promotion is defined as a strategic approach to fostering a safety culture through training, briefings, education, distribution of promotional materials, and strengthening collective awareness. Meanwhile, work safety refers to a company’s planned efforts to prevent accidents and minimize potential hazards, measured through workplace conditions, preventive actions, worker protection, and supervision of work procedures. Instrument testing was conducted using validity and reliability tests, while hypothesis testing involved Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis, significance tests, coefficient of determination, and simple linear regression. Data analysis was assisted by SPSS 25 software.The results showed that the implementation level of safety promotion at PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology falls into the “very good” category with a percentage of 91.74%. The level of work safety was also categorized as “very good” with a percentage of 91.46%.Validity test results indicated that all items in variable X (safety promotion) and variable Y (work safety) are valid, as the calculated r values exceed the table r value (0.288). However, in the reliability test, the Cronbach's Alpha value for variable Y (0.846) is above the threshold of 0.6, which means that the instrument for variable Y is reliable, as well as variable X (0.677) is reliable. The results of the normality test show that the data is normally distributed (significance 0.10 > 0.05). Linearity testing indicated a linear relationship between variables X and Y, as the F calculated value (16.180) is greater than the F table value (3.97). The heteroscedasticity test showed no symptoms of heteroscedasticity (significance 0.364 > 0.05).The Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.745, indicating a strong positive relationship between safety promotion and work safety. The significance test (t-test) showed a t value of 4.022, which is greater than the t table value of 1.994, indicating that variable X has a significant influence on variable Y.The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.174, indicating that safety promotion contributes 17.4% to work safety, while the remaining 82.6% is explained by other factors. The simple linear regression equation obtained was Y = 22.743 + 0.322X, meaning that each one-unit increase in safety promotion results in a 0.322 unit increase in work safety, demonstrating a positive and direct relationship.This research implies that safety promotion plays a vital role in improving personnel work safety. It is recommended that PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technology use these findings as a reference for evaluating its Safety Management System (SMS), enhance personnel competence through regular training, conduct safety audits and corrective actions, and continuously evaluate its safety programs. For future research, it is suggested to use different approaches and measurement scales, as well as expand the population and research locations.
