Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi SIPERAN (Sistem Pendataan Perawatan dan Perbaikan Kendaraan) berbasis platform AppSheet sebagai solusi terhadap permasalahan pencatatan manual perawatan dan perbaikan kendaraan operasional PKP-PK di Bandar Udara Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang. Sistem manual yang selama ini digunakan menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti ketidakteraturan data, kehilangan riwayat perawatan dan perbaikan kendaraan, keterlambatan servis, kesulitan pelaporan, dan kurangnya koordinasi antar petugas yang berdampak pada kesiapan operasional kendaraan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) level 1, dengan tahapan meliputi analisis kebutuhan melalui wawancara tidak terstruktur, perancangan produk awal, dan validasi desain. Pengujian fungsionalitas dilakukan dengan metode black box testing, sedangkan validasi desain diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan personel PKP-PK guna mengevaluasi tampilan antarmuka dan kemudahan penggunaan aplikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan aplikasi SIPERAN diharapkan dapat berfungsi dengan baik, mudah digunakan, intuitif, serta informatif. Fitur-fitur yang dirancang dinilai sesuai dengan kebutuhan operasional di unit PKP-PK Bandar Udara Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang dan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keteraturan serta keakuratan data perawatan kendaraan. Meskipun masih dalam tahap perancangan awal, aplikasi ini memiliki potensi untuk diimplementasikan secara lebih luas dalam mendukung sistem manajemen operasional yang berbasis digital.

This study aims to design a SIPERAN (Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Data Collection System) application based on the AppSheet platform as a solution to the problem of manual recording of maintenance and repair of ARFF operational vehicle at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang Airport. The manual system currently used causes various obstacles, such as data irregularities, loss of vehicle maintenance and repair history, service delays, reporting difficulties, and lack of coordination between officers which impacts vehicle operational readiness.
This research used a level 1 Research and Development (R&D) approach, with stages including needs analysis through unstructured interviews, initial product design, and design validation. Functionality testing was conducted using black box testing, while design validation was obtained through interviews with ARFF personnel to evaluate the application’s interface and usability.
The research results indicate that the SIPERAN application design is expected to function well, be easy to use, intuitive, and informative. The designed features are considered appropriate to the operational needs of the ARFF Department Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang Airport, and are expected to improve the regularity and accuracy of vehicle maintenance data. Although still in the intial design stage, this application has the potential to be implemented more widely to support a digital-based operational management system.
