Abstract

Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) adalah unit kritis di lingkungan
bandar udara yang bertugas menangani insiden darurat dan menjamin keselamatan
penerbangan. Namun, tingginya tuntutan kerja, tekanan situasional, dan risiko
tinggi dapat menimbulkan stres dan kelelahan kerja yang berpotensi menurunkan
kinerja personel. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengenal seberapa besar pengaruh
stres kerja dan kelelahan terhadap kinerja personel ARFF di Bandar Udara
Internasional Soekarno-Hatta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif
dengan pendekatan survei menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel ditentukan melalui
purposive sampling dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS.
Variabel yang dikaji meliputi stres kerja dan kelelahan selaku variabel
independen, juga kinerja selaku variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menandakan
bahwa stres kerja berdampak signifikan berkenaan dengan penurunan kinerja
personel ARFF, sementara kelelahan tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan secara
parsial. Meskipun demikian, secara simultan stres kerja dan kelelahan bersama
sama memengaruhi kinerja. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa stres kerja lebih
dominan dibanding kelelahan dalam memengaruhi kinerja, sisanya dipengaruhi
oleh aspek lain di luar model penelitian.

Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) is a critical unit in the airport
environment that is tasked with handling emergencies and ensuring flight safety.
However, high work demands, situational pressure, and high risks can cause stress
and work fatigue that can potentially reduce personnel performance. This study
aims to to find out how much the impact of work-related stress and fatigue on the
performance of ARFF personnel at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The
research method used was quantitative with a survey approach using
questionnaires. The sample was determined through purposive sampling and
analyzed using SPSS software.
The variables studied included work stress and fatigue as independent
variables, and performance as a dependent variable. The results of the study
indicate that work stress has a significant effect on the decline in ARFF personnel
performance, while fatigue does not have a significant partial effect. However,
work stress and fatigue simultaneously affect performance. This study concludes
that work stress is more dominant than fatigue in affecting performance, the rest is
influenced by other aspects outside the research model.
