ANALISIS KESESUAIAN SISTEM STANDAR ALAT PEMADAM API SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KEBAKARAN DI BANDAR UDARA SULTAN MAHMUD BADARUDDIN II PALEMBANG

Keselamatan di Bandar Udara menjadi prioritas utama dalam menunjang operasional penerbangan, termasuk melalui penyediaan sistem proteksi kebakaran seperti Alat Pemadam Api Ringan (APAR) dan hidran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian sistem alat pemadam api terhadap standar yang ditetapkan dalam Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 26 Tahun 2008 tentang persyaratan teknis sistem proteksi kebakaran pada bangunan gedung dan lingkungan, di Bandar Udara Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk menilai kondisi aktual dari APAR dan hidran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kesesuaian APAR sebesar 66% dan hidran 64%, sehingga nilai rata-rata keseluruhan berada pada angka 65% dan masuk kategori “Cukup Baik”. Beberapa aspek penting seperti penempatan, kelengkapan komponen, serta keterbacaan instruksi masih belum sepenuhnya sesuai standar.

Safety at the airport is a top priority for supporting flight operations, which includes the provision of fire protection systems such as Light Fire Extinguishers (APAR) and hydrants. This study aims to analyze the compliance of the fire extinguishing system with the standards established in the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works Number 26 of 2008, which outlines the technical requirements for fire protection systems in buildings and the surrounding environment at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang. The method used is qualitative and descriptive, with field observation, interviews, and documentation approaches to assess the actual condition of fire extinguishers and hydrants. The results of the study showed that the conformity value of fire extinguishers was 66% and hydrants was 64%, so that the overall average value was at 65% and was in the category of "Quite Good." Some important aspects, such as placement, completeness of components, and readability of instructions, are still not fully up to standard.
