Abstract

Kegiatan pengumuman penumpang (announcing) oleh petugas Information Service Officer (ISO) pada unit Airport Operation Landside and Terminal (AOLT) di Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga rawan menimbulkan kesalahan dalam penyampaian informasi serta ketidakkonsistenan pengumuman, terutama pada kondisi operasional yang padat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses pelaksanaan announcing, menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi petugas ISO, serta merancang sistem pengumuman penumpang semi otomatis berbasis Google Sheets sebagai sarana alat bantu bagi petugas dalam pelaksanaan announcing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) Level 1 dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara terhadap petugas ISO. Sistem yang dirancang mengintegrasikan Google Sheets sebagai media pengelolaan data, Google Apps Script sebagai pengolah otomatisasi, serta teknologi Text-to-Speech (TTS) sebagai pengubah teks menjadi suara, dengan konsep human-in-the-loop yang tetap menempatkan petugas ISO sebagai pengendali utama dalam proses verifikasi data dan eksekusi pengumuman. Hasil validasi expert judgment menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 92,5% dari ahli materi dan 84,4% dari ahli media, dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 88,45%, sehingga rancangan sistem dinyatakan berada pada kategori Sangat Layak untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai sarana alat bantu kegiatan pengumuman penumpang di Unit Informasi AOLT Bandara Internasional Yogyakarta. // Passenger announcements (announcing) made by Information Service Officer (ISO) personnel at the Airport Operation Landside and Terminal (AOLT) unit of Yogyakarta International Airport are still carried out manually, making them prone to errors in information delivery and inconsistent announcements, particularly during busy operational conditions. This study aims to identify the announcing process, analyze the obstacles faced by ISO officers, and design a Google Sheets-based semi-automated passenger announcement system as a supporting tool for officers in carrying out announcing. This study used a Level 1 Research and Development (R&D) method with a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation and interviews with ISO officers. The designed system integrates Google Sheets as the data management medium, Google Apps Script as the automation processor, and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology to convert text into voice, applying a human-in-the-loop concept that keeps ISO officers as the main controllers responsible for data verification and announcement execution. Expert judgment validation results showed a feasibility score of 92.5% from content experts and 84.4% from media experts, with an overall average of 88.45%, placing the system design in the Very Feasible category for further development as a supporting tool for passenger announcement activities at the AOLT Information Unit of Yogyakarta International Airport.
