PENGARUH KETERSEDIAAN FASILITAS INFORMASI VISUAL TERHADAP KELANCARAN PERGERAKAN PENUMPANG INTERNASIONAL DI BANDAR UDARA INTERNASIONAL YOGYAKARTA // THE EFFECT OF VISUAL INFORMATION FACILITY AVAILABILITY ON THE PASSENGER FLOW OF INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS AT YOGYAKARTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Fasilitas informasi visual berperan penting dalam mendukung navigasi mandiri penumpang di terminal bandar udara, khususnya pada titik pertemuan jalur keberangkatan domestik dan internasional yang rawan menimbulkan kebingungan arah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketersediaan fasilitas informasi visual terhadap kelancaran pergerakan penumpang internasional di Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei terhadap 83 penumpang internasional yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling dan teori Roscoe. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner kemudian dianalisis melalui uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear sederhana, serta uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan fasilitas informasi visual berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kelancaran pergerakan penumpang, dengan persamaan regresi Y = 9,516 + 0,673X, koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,834, serta nilai t hitung 5,774 yang lebih besar dari t tabel 1,66388. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 69,6% menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas informasi visual merupakan faktor dominan dalam mendukung kelancaran navigasi mandiri penumpang, sedangkan 30,4% sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain seperti kepadatan penumpang dan layout terminal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penyederhanaan hierarki informasi visual, penambahan rambu konfirmasi arah, serta penerapan floor marking berwarna sebagai langkah perbaikan. // Visual information facilities play a critical role in supporting independent passenger navigation within airport terminals, particularly at the convergence points of domestic and international departure routes where directional confusion is most likely to occur. This study aims to examine the effect of visual information facility availability on the passenger flow smoothness of international passengers at Yogyakarta International Airport. A quantitative method with a survey approach was employed, involving 83 international passengers selected through purposive sampling technique and the Roscoe theory. Data were collected using a questionnaire and subsequently analyzed through classical assumption tests, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 26. The results indicate that visual information facility availability has a positive and significant effect on passenger flow smoothness, as reflected in the regression equation Y = 9,516 + 0,673X, a correlation coefficient of 0,834, and a t-value of 5,774 which exceeds the t-table value of 1,66388. The coefficient of determination of 69,6% demonstrates that visual information facilities constitute a dominant factor in supporting passenger flow smoothness, while the remaining 30,4% is attributed to other factors such as passenger density and the physical condition of the terminal. This study recommends the simplification of visual information hierarchy, the addition of directional confirmation signage, and the implementation of colored floor markings as corrective measures.
