ANALISIS KELENGKAPAN RESCUE TOOLS PADA KENDARAAN FOAM TENDER IV DI BANDAR UDARA INTERNATIONAL KUALANAMU

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi kelengkapan rescue tools pada kendaraan Foam Tender IV di Bandar Udara International Kualanamu serta mengetahui dampak ketidaklengkapannya terhadap pelaksanaan operasi penyelamatan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan kondisi aktual rescue tools terhadap standar yang tercantum dalam Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Udara Nomor PR 30 Tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rescue tools pada kendaraan Foam Tender IV secara umum masih dapat mendukung pelaksanaan operasi penyelamatan, namun masih terdapat beberapa jenis peralatan yang jumlahnya belum sesuai dengan standar. Ketidaklengkapan tersebut berpotensi mengurangi efektivitas proses penyelamatan, memperlambat pembukaan akses menuju korban, meningkatkan beban kerja personel, serta menurunkan kesiapan operasional pada keadaan darurat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan optimalisasi pemeriksaan fungsi, sistem pelaporan, serta pemenuhan kelengkapan rescue tools agar kesiapan operasional Unit PKP-PK tetap terjaga dan mampu mendukung keselamatan penerbangan.
This study aims to analyze the completeness of rescue tools on the Foam Tender IV vehicle at Kualanamu International Airport and to identify the impacts of incomplete rescue tools on rescue operations. This research employed a qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The analysis was conducted by comparing the actual condition of the rescue tools with the standards stipulated in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Regulation Number PR 30 of 2022. The findings indicate that the rescue tools available on the Foam Tender IV vehicle are generally capable of supporting rescue operations. However, several types of equipment do not yet meet the required standards in terms of quantity. The incompleteness of these rescue tools has the potential to reduce the effectiveness of rescue operations, delay access to victims, increase the workload of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) personnel, and decrease operational readiness during emergency situations. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize equipment inspections, improve the reporting system, and ensure the completeness of rescue tools in accordance with the applicable standards to maintain the operational readiness of the ARFF Unit and support aviation safety.
